US20/26, Middleton Rd to Star Rd

Precision provided traffic signal design services on this Transportation Expansion & Congestion Mitigation Fund (TECM) project as the traffic signal specialist, providing both interim and ultimate signal designs for seven signalized intersections along US-20/26 (Chinden Boulevard) at Middleton Road, Midland Boulevard, Northside Boulevard, Franklin Boulevard, 11th Avenue, Can Ada Road, and Star Road. The work also included design of over seven miles of fiber-optic interconnect extending from Middleton Road to the new SH-16 intersection, as well as intersection illumination at each signalized location. The signal and ITS design required coordination with and adherence to the traffic signal standards and equipment of four separate jurisdictions—ITD, ACHD, the City of Nampa, and the City of Caldwell.
