Precision provided roadway lighting design services for two connected phases of federally funded US-95 widening projects in Bonners Ferry, Idaho. The scope of work included the design of approximately 2.5 miles of continuous street lighting along the US-95 corridor to improve nighttime visibility, safety, and corridor continuity. Lighting was designed in accordance with ITD and AASHTO roadway lighting standards and verified through AGi32 photometric modeling to confirm illumination levels, uniformity, and compliance. The project also included traffic signal design at the intersection of US-95 and Alderson Lane. Precision performed extensive coordination with ITD, local agencies, and multiple utility providers to integrate the lighting system within a planned utility corridor, resolve conflicts, and support constructability and long-term operations.
